Summertime: Venice & Washington

For our honeymoon/one year anniversary, we spent one week in Venice, Italy and had such a great time!

On our way home, we enjoyed a weekend layover in Washington State with Nick's family. 

We had such a great time going for motorcycle rides, bike rides, wakeboarding, eating lots of delicious food (Nick's mom makes a KILLER pie!), and just enjoying our time with the fam.

 

I spent a few extra days with this beautiful friend. We've been great friends since college (8 years now!). She lives in cute Queen Anne where we enjoyed getting lost on walks, eating at cute, delicious places like this, and just catching up and enjoying a few laughs!

 I also got to meet up with my YoungLife girls from when they were in junior high in Kirkland. Now they're all halfway through college and one gets married in a few weeks! So fun to see all of them (and we missed the ones we couldn't make it). I also got to hang out with a few other younglifers but forgot to snap a few pictures :(
P.s. If you're ever at Pike's Place, stop in at Confectional's for some of the best cheesecake! We love it - it's our tradition!

Altogether, it was a great trip! I am, though, very happy to be home. My to do list is quite long!
