Happy Mother's Day!

I hope all you Mother's out there had a great mother's day and all you kiddos (young and old) helped your mother feel celebrated!

My Mom is quite the crafter, so I decorated a frame and made her some fun craft accessories:

Below: Gray fabric flower headband and red fabric flower accent.

 A pack of homemade paper flowers to add to my Mom's many craft accessories.

 Decorated this frame with the same paper flowers from above and some wire and beads. Then inserted a typed message of love and appreciation (used my typewriter):

 And a few satin flower accessories along with a satin flower hair clip (lightly burnt edges)

Feels like summer!

These past few days have been very summer-ish warm, which probably explains the almost 4 hours of surfing Nick and I enjoyed today. It also may explain my excitement to finally have the time to work on some projects that get left under all my textbooks.

Here's what I'm looking forward to:

There are a few others on my list, but the point: I've got a list and it's growing (I haven't even mentioned the recipes I want to try)!

Maybe by the end of summer, I'll have enough to sell at a craft fair....here's to hoping!
