Banana "Ice Cream"

This will change your life! Haha, that's exactly what I told my husband when I first tasted this last night!

SO GOOD! Cut up some bananas, freeze them, throw them in your food processor for a few minutes, toss in a few macadamia nuts (or whatever flavors you like!), then serve immediately!

I always freeze bananas. They're great to munch on, throw in smoothies, and now for a healthy, tasty ice cream alternative!

One of these days, I'll get an ice cream maker...the options will be endless!

Until then, bon appetit!

  1. So delicious! We tried it, SEVERAL times and just love it. Of course, it's not so healthy when the kiddies start adding whipped cream. :O)

  2. I'm glad you gave it a go! For the "cookies" and this dish, mix equal parts agave nectar, cacao, and coconut oil, and enjoy! For the cookies, coat them (do it quickly since the sauce starts to thicken quite quick), and throw them in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes. Take'em out and they hold up at room temp....OOORRR dip a banana in it and freeze the whole thing. YUM, just throught of that. I'm gonna do a cacao dipped bananer on a stick! :)
